Pie,
snorkels, shiny objects, cats, writing, singing, running in circles,
staying up late, sleeping in late, computers (even though she lacks the intelligence
to operate one, she just likes to stare at the shiny screen), dancing,
gymnastics, video games, and music.
DISLIKES:
Spiders,
school, flying, people who don’t like pie, shiny things, or snorkels,
ladders, covered bridges, people who make fun of her for the aforementioned
obsessions, and some other stuff…
FEARS:
Kat has
an acute fear of crossing bridges. She’s also terrified of spiders and
flying on airplanes. And ladders. Kat is very afraid of ladders. She’s also
terrified of rejection, not with males yet since she has had very little
male interaction, but with friends.
HABITS:
When
Kat is nervous, she’s usually struck speechless (which is unusual for her,
since she is always babbling). She fidgets a lot and has a very hard time
staying focused on one subject/object/person or very long.
PERSONALITY:
Kat
is…well, Kat is weird. Horribly misunderstood, strange, and free spirited, these
traits make her fellow classmates think she is insane. And she very well
could be. Full of energy and life, she constantly is trying to make people feel
better with her psychotic antics. She’s overly nice to people, even people
who are mean to her, and she’s always happy. On the outside at least.
Inside, Kat’s a scared little girl who just wants a friend/someone to love.
She’s overly emotional, pretty funny…but STUPID. She was in special ed
classes all of her life except for when she moved to South Park. She’s kind,
generous, and very trusting and forgiving. Even if people have hurt her or
played tricks on her, she’ll still go right back to that person, as willing
as ever to be friends with them. When the time calls for it, however, she
shows a bit of intellect and usually is the one who comes up with the
peaceful solution for problems. A peacemaker, and very passive (fighting
wis!e, anyway), she’s a pretty…errr…unique person. =P
HISTORY:
Kat was
born and raised in New Jersey, where she lived all of her life up until
recently with her mother, father, and younger brother and sister. She attended
Catholic school for the first three grades of her school career
(kindergarten, first, and second) and then moved on to a public school when
she started third. A very bright baby, she was able to read before she was
3 years old, and knew her alphabet at the age of one. In fact, they thought
Kat might be one of those super intelligent kids until she entered school…and
then everything changed. An event during a kindergarten class flipped her
personality around totally, and changed her for life. The once bright,
normal kid was converted into a happy, pie loving weirdo. And it showed.
The other kids started to tease Kat, and even though she didn’t show
anything on the outside, she was starting to feel worse and worse about
herself. And then, to make matters worse, when Kat was eight, her parents
got divorced (which w!asn’t really a bad thing for Kat, actually, it might
have been a relief for her since her father abused her physically,
sexually, and mentally) and her mother moved in with a female partner,
making her mother a lesbian. And as if this wasn’t enough, the announced
that they were going to move to Colorado, leaving the only family and
friends that Kat had known.
MEDICAL NOTES:
Kat’s
lactose intolerant, but she’s been known to sneak ice cream on occasions.
=) And
she sunburns very easily, making her prone to burns on her shoulders and
even sun poisoning.
CATCH PHRASES:
I like
pie!” “Snorkels are funny!” “Oooo…shiny!” and various other things
that
make absolutely no sense.
SPEAKING MANNERISMS:
Kat
speaks very rapidly and…perkily, I guess, with a very distinct American accent.
She’s known to stutter when she’s trying to think of something to say (and
a lot of other times too). Once in a while, when she’s like, sedated or something,
lol, she has a low, strangely soothing voice. She can sing well.
APPEARANCE
HAIR:
Kat has
bright, fiery red hair. It’s short, about at her ears or a little longer,
and pretty messy since she really doesn’t care too much about her looks.
EYES:
Kat has
hazel eyes, but their more green then they are brown. They also change
colors depending on what she is wearing/feeling. They go from bright green
to brown to a bluish green color.
SKIN:
Caucasian,
and very fair. She sunburns easily.
WEIGHT (lbs):
About
41 pounds.
CLOTHES AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS:
Kat’s
clad in two different outfits whenever she is drawn. I used to try to make
her outfit different from mine, but then everyone kind of…didn’t, lol, so
right now she is wearing a black halter top with three different colored
blue stripes in the middle across her chest. She’s in regular blue jeans
that flare a little bit at the bottom but fit loosely, like most of her
other clothes. Her other outfit I used to have her in was a fuchsia halter
top with “KAT” written across it and these cool orchid colored pants. But she
doesn’t wear that anymore. =P She always (or almost always) has a snorkel
or a pie on her.
NOTABLE FEATURES:
Errrr…she’s
pretty? Well, she’s pretty and attracts attention until she
opens
her mouth. =P

FIRST APPEARANCE:
“What
Do You Do With A Shiny, Pie Tasting Snorkel?” was the first fic she appeared
in in my own series. In other series, she came out first in a joint between
Kyle Gon Jinn and myself called “Goodbye Squirrel”.
WHY?!:
Well, I
used Kat as an alias for myself when I was doing a joint fic with Missy
over a year ago now, lol…called “Ditchin’ is Bitchin’.” She kind of developed…into
the SP version of me, lol.
CREATION:
She’s
just me as a South Park kid, only a hell of a lot stupider. =P She’s got
the same little stupid traits I have, the same obsessions, and almost the
same personality. The only difference is that, like I said, Kat is a lot
stupider then I am, and she’s waaaaaaaay more outgoing then I am.
WRITING FOR:
Writing
for Kat? Hee…I think she must be one of the easiest kids to write for, if
not the easiest. All you have to do is make her as dumb as possible, run
around, hyper, and have her scream about pie and about how she comes from Saturn.
=) And of course, she’s always babbling about something. Even if it doesn’t
make any sense. ^_^
FUTURE:
Her
future? Well…I’m not sure where Kat is going to go. A few ideas have been
tossed around…one of them was her becoming a SPED teacher (oh, the irony of
it all, eh?), or another one is maybe going back to Australia with Matt one
day. I dunno yet though.
