Okay, here's the deal... Every month Fictional South Park will be giving out three awards. One
for the best Fancharacter, one for the best Story, and one for the best Writer. And how do we
decide who to give them to? We don't! You do. :P
Now, there are just a few rules we have to make sure that the voting is fair. We want to try and
let a variety of people win the awards, not just the same person every month! But we also want to
make sure that the winner deserves the award! Please keep reading.
For the Fancharacters section, eligible characters must have met the rules of our "Main Characters"
listed here on the site. However, they do not have to have their details entered within the database. If neither
of the judges knows the winning character, then an enquiry will be made.
For the Story section, eligible stories must be South Park based, of a substantial size,
published somewhere public on the Internet and they must not contain material questionable even for
South Park.
For the Writers section, eligible writers must have produced at least five South Park stories
of episode length, and all these stories must meet the requirements of the Story section.
You can vote for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for each award. The 1st place entry gets 5 points, the
2nd gets 3 and 3rd gets 1.
The highest total score for each section wins. If there is a draw, then the judges will come
to a private decision depending on the circumstances.
Anyone found cheating by either voting multiple times in one month, or by forcing family or friends
with no knowledge of the Fictional South Park World to vote, will be disqualified for that month, and
maybe more.
Likewise, voting for yourself, your own stories, or your own characters is bad... Mmmkay?
Please make sure you HAVE read a substantial amount of stories by different authors before voting.
You do not need to vote for all sections, and you do not need to put votes down for all the places.
However once you have clicked 'submit', you may not enter again, even for a different section, in that month.
The Character, Story and Writer who win an award CANNOT be voted for in the next award. This means
that it is impossible to have two consecutive wins. In the months after the consecutive one, they can be voted
for again.
Your vote is anonymous, so please don't feel forced to be biased towards friends. Vote for who
you think really deserves it.
Please try and have some variety in your voting over the months. Having the same Character, Story and Writer
win again and again is pointless. We want all the skilled people to feel appreciated, not just the most
popular. If necessary, some Characters, Stories and Writers will not be allowed to win if they have won
numerous times in the past.
You cannot change your vote once entered unless you have a really, REALLY good excuse. If you DO have a really, REALLY
good excuse, e-mail us.
If you cannot use the form for technical reasons, please send the relevant information to one/both of the e-mail addresses listed on the left.
The judges decision is FINAL. Do not argue with us!!
